Level

Color

Power

Description

Level 1

Green

8 Watt

Lowest level

Always use this cycle first to slowly acclimatize delicate wood. Also ideal for keeping warm during breaks in play.

Level 2

Blue

20 Watt

Medium level

Standard cycle Often used as a standard setting for normal ambient temperatures.

Level 3

Red

35 Watt

Highest level (caution)

Suitable for quickly warming insensitive materials (e.g., metal instruments) or in extreme cold. Caution with wood: Check if this level is too high for your instrument.

Important note on individual use

This heat cover is designed for various instruments (e.g., oboe, clarinet, flute) and different ambient temperatures. Since wood reacts more sensitively to heat than metal, there is no one-size-fits-all setting.

The principle is:

Proceed with caution!

· Check how your instrument reacts to the heat.

· Select the level appropriate for the material's sensitivity (wood vs. metal) and the ambient cold.

· For sensitive wooden instruments, avoid sudden exposure to heat.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE ON START-UP BEHAVIOR

Please note: For safety and functional reasons, the device automatically starts at the highest heating level (level 3, red) after being switched on. For sensitive wooden instruments, we recommend manually adjusting the heating level to a lower setting immediately after switching on to avoid too rapid a temperature increase. Proceed gently and adapt the heating power to the material sensitivity of your instrument.

⚠️For sensitive wooden instruments: If necessary, reduce the temperature promptly after switching on to avoid too rapid a temperature increase. Adjust the starting level to your instrument.

6. Transport:

· For transport, the cover can be easily folded over the front.

· Attention: Do not fold the cover on the back, as this can damage the heating element.

7. Cleaning and Care

· Before cleaning: Disconnect the power supply (remove power bank).

· Cleaning: The heat cover is made of leather and can be treated with leather care products.

· Drying: Allow the bag to air dry completely before using it again.

· 🚫 Never immerse in water or wash in a washing machine!
